After exchanging snail mail addresses with the lads’ parents, I decided to check out the postal service rules for the UK. Average cost of letter, average delivery time, that sorta thing.
I’m a little disappointed in what I discovered. Honestly, it ruined my Christmas present idea for the lads’ families…
I’m sorry to say, I’ll have to look for something a little less original than “Live bees” because they are restricted. (okay, who would send live bees in the mail? I mean, it obviously had to happen enough that they had to write the rule down: No Live Bees)
However, Live queen bees are okay as long as they are accompanied by an import license issued by a UK Government Agricultural Department and a health certificate issued by the appropriate Government Department of the country of origin stating that the bees are free of disease.
There’s a thought.
Okay, back to work…

LMAO too funny!
