I did enjoy it. I laughed out loud a couple of times. It was extremely predictable and yes, there were a few stupid moments, but over all, it was a cute movie. It wasn’t a masterpiece and it wasn’t the best chick-flick in the world…but it was definitely cute.
So, if you want a brainless giggle of a movie, see The Wedding Date.
Next on the list, Must Love Dogs.

Hmmm . . . I’ll have to think about that one. It didn’t look that good to me for some reason. But I also thought that about Monster In Law until I was laughing out loud at that movie.

Didn’t enjoy Wedding Date (had to look it up to refresh my momsheimers memory on if I had or not) and enjoyed Must Love Dogs. Of course, it’s Cusack. Happy viewing!

That’s about where it fell on my scale, too, Mel. Not the best, but not bad. I am still waiting for a good comedic chick flick. Any suggestions??

I thought Wedding Date was okay–not my favorite, but I didn’t dislike it. I liked Must Love Dogs more, but as K says–Cusack. I like Diane Lane too, as well as the actors who play the secondary characters (ironically Dermot Mulruney is one). And it’s a more thoughtful story.
