And the final dud goes to—

Did I say “dud”? Oh, I’m sorry, I meant “bud”.

Oh, who am I kidding, I meant dud.

Dr. Dud, that is. He’s a sweet guy and probably will make the most fantastic husband, but honey, he truly made for boring TV.

And so, to compliment his boring TV personality, he picked June Cleaver (aka Sarah from TN) to be his best girl. They can hold hands now and maybe kiss open mouthed when nobody’s looking. He even gave her his ring to wear around her neck. Isn’t that swell?

Probably, she was the best, most stable choice for him. All wise and knowing Maria and I have had this conversation several times. We knew he’d pick June to be his best girl in the end, but I so hoped he’d pick Moana. They had chemistry and passion. I really don’t see it between Dud and June, but I’m sure it’s there. Somewhere. Maybe it got caught in the crack between the twin beds when they pushed them together to play patty fingers.

Surely this momma’s boy wouldn’t go against his heart (or groin) and pick the safe girl based on what his parents’ thought?

*gasp!*

And what will June think when she sees tonight’s show and watch Dr. Dud’s nieces say, “I like Moana the best. I think he should choose her.”

Oh well. I found myself 2nd guessing who he would choose during the show. Great editing job, ABC. You almost had me convinced that a man like Travis would choose a girl like Moana.

Now, bring me a bad boy Bachelor again. How I long for the exciting days of Bob. Or as Maria the wonder brain calls him, “Blob”.

  1. LOL!

I liked TN Sarah best for him, but 2 things worried me–he was so hot for that other one (who wanted to be an actress in LA?–not Moana), so I figured he had no hots for TN or anyone else really.

Also, he wants to move to the mountains, preferably Colorado, and she and her family were adament that she stayed right where she was. I wonder how they’ll resolve that one?

Anyway–not the most exciting folks on the planet, but they were both sweet. OTOH, I LOVE bad boys too! 🙂

  2. I have to watch the show before I can give my “official” comment, but I have to admit, I do really like Sarah. I liked Moana, too, but she was too high drama for me. Of course, that’s why she made great TV, but ultimately, I think she would have been Travis’ worst nightmare.

  3. Ok, I like Moana, I do. I like Sarah MUCH BETTER. To me Moana always seemed like she was playing towards the cameras…not as much as Susan was, but still. If I had to hear her say ONE MORE TIME that she has “never connected with a human being like I connect with Travis…” I was going to scratch my eyes out. I don’t know, maybe I can’t “articulate into words” how I feel but she’s way too high maintenance for Travis. Travis and Sarah seem to have a connection…ones that goes beyond just physical and will last. honestly I don’t think Moana and Travis had much more of a connection. I am SO happy with his decision…I just want to know what’s gonna happen with them…Hopefully they stay together and get married and have little cute babies. 🙂
