lipstick on a razorback

Kiss me! I’m a hog fan and I’m wearing my red lips to prove it!

I’m also wearing my razorback charm on my charm necklace:

My razorback shirt and as always my razorback red hair:

Woo Pig! Let’s rock Jerry’s House tonight! I can’t wait to hang out at Cheers with some of my favorite people and cheer my little piggies to victory! And to all my friends who are heading to the game in high cotton, drive carefully!

Go Hogs

Cotton Bowl is tomorrow. El Jefe and I will be watching it with friends in a private party room at a local restaurant. This excites me.

Woo Pig Sooie.  The official fight song as only Shirley Q. Liquor can do it…

FIRE! FIRE!

So I had two weeks off…and even though I did a lot of sleeping, I did other things, too.

El Jefe and I started building a firepit in our yard. We are using bricks that used to be walls at the entrance of my parents’ driveway. Multiple walls that were knocked down multiple times due to drunk drivers totally missing the giant curve in front of their house.

It’s kinda cool that we are making something new out of something old.

And even though it’s not finished, we did build a fire for New Years. Yeah this pit is gonna be awesome. And so will the patio we are going to build around it.

This is the area before we started.

First thing we had to do was collect the bricks. This really isn’t very easy, because they’re down by the pond and we have to pull the wagon through a marshy area before we pull it up the hill to the pit area. Also, the bricks are heavy. So before we used the tractor to pull them, we used Rader.

Then we employed Ruby to supervise.

C’mon baby! Light my FIRE!

While we’re prettying up the area, we decided to give Baby Bear some company. He always loved the ladies.

I’m back!

I took a much needed two week break from blogging. It was totally unplanned, but I’m glad I did it. Hope you guys are still around. If not, I’ll just talk to myself. I do that a lot anyway. Good thing I crack myself up…

First things, first…The Bachelor is back and so are my recaps at Hey Don’t Judge Me! Go forth, read and let’s discuss the crazy! Because trust me, this season will be full of some drama.

Lot’s of things went down over the holiday break. And by “lot’s of things” I actually mean sleep. I did lots of sleeping. I slept all the sleeps. It was fantastic.

I also got a haircut…

I like it. 🙂 I never like having the same ol’ boring hair year after year.

I hope y’all had a wonderful holiday and new year.

By the way, I don’t believe in resolutions, but I do think I could use a revolution this year…let’s make it happen.
