This is a brief post. Sorry gang. I started a new job yesterday and last week I was swamped with lying around on the sand.

Wanna read the best recap of the show ever? My friend Stoney does a bang up job getting her Geek on with her D&D references, while throwing in some Ren and Stimpy love. (and really, who doesn’t want a Justice Log now?) This show is really fantastic if you’re a fantasy lover or a wanna be. (I’m a nerd, not a geek, but I’m totally working on my GeekCred by dating an UberGeek and by giving birth to an UberGeekWannaBe.)

I work on my tan. I should take advantage of the few remaining afternoons I have off before I rejoin the full timers. 
Also, I must get a good base tan going before the girls and I head to Orange Beach. I might also start to train my body for 4 days and 3 nights of overindulgence. 
We have adopted the motto of “what happens in OB, stays in OB” (yeah, so we’ll be getting sued by Vegas any minute now) but I’m thinking that MAYBE I’ll offer a few sneak peeks into our 3 day attempt at completing all the 7 Deadly Sins…
Jenner, my High School BFF (pictured here with our friend Nick who (sadly) will not be with us today), will be joining me today for a late birthday lunch. She was unable to make my dinner, so we are going on a date today.
It’s supposed to be coldish and rainy this weekend and I asked the boys what they wanted to do and they said, “Chill.” Okay. I’m down with that. It’s actually what I do best… So we’re gonna chill (thank goodness for snuggies) what are you gonna do?

You know what else made me feel better? Watching Daniel Tosh Completely Serious on Netflix. Holy Crappin’ Damn he’s funny. And sooooo not right. Which makes me love him even more. Here’s an example of the awesome. It is sooooo very NSFW (unless you wear headphones…)
I got people to see and stuffs to do today. I’m having my Bday lunch with my bestie from high school on Friday. Yay for Sushi! Can’t wait!

First, I have the best friends in the world. Thank you guys for a wonderful Girls (and Guys)Night Out Bday party last night. And to Allana, a big ol’ super duper thank you for my wonderful 4-leaf clover cake.

Please send all your healing thoughts to Japan, Hawaii, and our west coast as that tsunami heads that way. Here’s hoping it dies down and is little more than an annoyance. And to my friends who have loved ones in those places, you’re definitely in my thoughts. Much love to you all.
It’s Fat Tuesday! Totally my favorite holiday. Let’s face it…any holiday with the word “Fat” in it is worthy of admiration, respect, and celebration! Also there are beads! and Feathers!
We also had a dance off in the play room where (as Jefe so kindly put it) Ellis schooled me. Whatever. I let her win. (or as Laura said, “We forgot to tell Ellis she had to let Mel win…) Hah! No respect. There are a few pics of the schooling on Jefe’s camera. I believe he thoroughly enjoyed watching me wiggle my booty. BTW, I did beat Ellis when IT’S RAINING MEN came on. I guess I just needed the proper inspiration. Hahaha

Do you know how hard it is to send a pretty pucker to your boyfriend for Valentine’s Day?
But it was blurry and the lighting was weird. Would El Jefe care about all that? No. But I did.
We went to Oaklawn with some friends on Saturday. It was the perfect day to introduce El Jefe to the art of throwing your money away on the pretty ponies. He actually won some, so it wasn’t a total bust. 🙂 We had a great time, and the weather was awesome. OMG soooo awesome.
